Art Education
​
Art is a vital part of a well-rounded educational program. Hickman Charter School supports art education in various ways throughout the curriculum. Appropriate art instruction is often offered for students in conjunction with their participation in our weekly classes, the various history activity days that we offer and through special art workshops. Also, some families use vendor units to take art classes in the community. Signup information for our on-campus classes and workshops will be communicated through ParentSquare.

Art Packs
We currently offer two to three art packs yearly for the use of our students. Pick up supplies along with a printed project guide for the current Art Pack in the Annex or from your E.C. Art packs will contain information, instructions and all the supplies for at home lessons. A current art pack and a completed art project will be displayed in our Annex in Hickman.

Cupcakes?

One of our prior art packs involved...cupcakes, with featured artist Wayne Thiebaud. These young ladies created quite different interpretations using the same information!
