Multi-Subject Grade-Level Activities for TK/K - 8th Grade

From September through March, HCS families may choose to have their children participate in once-weekly thematic classes for students in each grade level, TK/K through eighth grade.  Classes take place on our main Hickman campus on Tuesdays, from 9am-12pm.  After lunch, middle school students (grades six through eight) have the opportunity to take part in a rotating set of interest-based afternoon electives from 1pm-2pm.

Our thematic classes are not curriculum-specific; instead, they focus on grade-level learning goals and engaging hands-on projects and activities across all subject areas: English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
